About
Photographs have always been magical to me. In a fraction of a second, the camera captures and preserves a moment in time for an eternity. Like a flowing river that is never exactly the same, each photo is unique. Capturing images and processing them slows my life considerably.
The opportunity to stop and view a photograph, absorb the content, shapes, colors, perspectives, forces one to digest the world a little differently, restraining us from our usual frenetic pace. We begin to see details we haven’t seen before or we can be reminded of things or feelings long forgotten. A photographer cannot always predict what emotions his/her image will evoke. There is indeed magic afoot.
